Emily & Ryan

I remember very well when I first met Ryan. He came to my house to pick up his daughter from the art classes that she was attending.

Him, his wife and their 3 children, have recently moved to their new house in my neighbourhood. We immediately started a conversation and he got very curios about my profession. So I showed him quickly my latest catalog with the Moduuli Paper Panels and he could only say that his wife will definitely like to see it. And that is how I met Emily.

From the first moment, Emily became completely obsessed with my geometric wall art and asked me right away to visit their house.

Beautiful, modern and minimal architecture with concrete ceilings and overall greyscale interiors, made me only think about colours.

With absolutely great taste and intuition of Emily (American born forever traveller) it didn’t take long to create this amazing commission. I showed her some of my past projects and the random pattern is what won this time.

The only room where we both decided to skip the colours, was their bedroom. Instead we used the Moduuli Esher large panel that makes an interesting optical illusion and brightens up the room.

Happy to finally share this beautiful art project with you!

Short story about my new Paper Mosaic Collection

Where it all begin? During the fabrication process of the Moduuli, at some point I started collecting the tiny leftovers of diamond shaped paper cut outs. It seamed interesting, not yet I knew how to use it in my art works. Some time has passes, till I finally opened all the little boxes full of these tiny puzzles and started to put it all together.

Shortly after, I realised that is´s a whole new world of possibilities that I can create and recreate!

Moduuli Black for Rolls-Royce Black Badge

Moduuli Black - Bespoke Geometric Wall Panels

We are proud to announce that King Kong Design created the bespoke 3-dimensional Moduuli Black Geometric Panels for the Rolls Royce Black Badge campaign.

The panels were made out of large individual tiles that were then assembled to form a rigid wall installation. This project is a great example of how the bespoke geometric wall art can be used in professional film and photography.

Our modern geometric wall panels provided the unique background for the stunning photos and videos created by Jora Frantzis.

Rolls Royce Black Badge

In March 2016 Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presented Black Badge; a permanent Bespoke family of motor cars that respond to the taste patterns of the marque’s most daring and disruptive clients. Since its introduction, Black Badge has become the most commanding presence on the super-luxury landscape and has done much to attract a new generation of Rolls-Royce customers to the marque. The time is now right to delve further into its extraordinary allure.

In this spirit, the marque called upon a collective of globally recognised creatives to express the soul of Black Badge. At the centre of the work is bionic performance artist and art director Viktoria Modesta, celebrated for her innovative and futuristic approach and famed for her fearless performances at the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony, Art Basel, and Fashion Weeks worldwide.
